About The Position

POSITION: CHEESE ROOM SANITATION
PAY RATE: $22.05
DAYS: MON, TUE, THUR, FRI
HOURS: 8:00AM-6:30 PM
DUTIES: PUSH CHEESE, CLEAN CHEESE VATS, RESUPPLY CLEANING SUPPLIES AND CHEMICALS, FOAM WALLS AND FLOORS, HELP WITH CHEESE PRODUCTION, CLEAN ASSOCIATED AREAS.HOURS MAY CHANGE BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS. WORK WHERE NEEDED WHEN ASKED.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass drug screen and physical
• Must climb, stoop, crawl, twist turn and move objects above and below the head, and walk continually to perform job functions

Responsibilities

• Push cheese
• Clean cheese vats
• Resupply cleaning supplies and chemicals
• Foam walls and floors
• Help with cheese production
• Clean associated areas
• Scrubs pipe fittings and machines with chemical solution, using brush
• Dismantles and reassembles machine
• Attaches pipes and fittings to machines, using wrenches
• Opens containers and bags and dumps various ingredients into machine hoppers
• Starts and stops machines and equipment
• Does minor adjustments to machines as needed to maintain operation
• Foam walls and floors
• Keep the work area safe and clean
• Work in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow both written and verbal instructions
• Perform basic mathematics
• Fill out written daily reports
