About The Position

Ensure that all environmental cleaning assigned to positions is completed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiply projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Replenish Enforse and acid.
• Replenish footbath chemicals.
• Foam area around foot foamers.
• Refill hand sanitizers.
• Culture freezers wipe down tops.
• Culture room sweep & mop.
• Culture room pick-up area.
• Sweep salt room.
• Inspect CIP Centers for leaks at pumps, valves, etc.
• Add foam nox into caustic tanks (1gal to 3000, 4000 2gal to 31000, 41000).
• Foam vacuum pump room floors and clean drain pans.
• Foam 2000 CIP Room (floor).
• Foam 3000, 4000 CIP (floor).
• Sanitize all water hose nozzles.
• Titrate doorway sanitizers.
• Maintain CIP – 1000, 3000, 3100, 4000, and 4100.
• Utilizes GPS processes, driving zero losses and upholds the culture of Southwest Cheese non-negotiables.
• Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
• Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates. (Food Safety Modernization Act- FSMA, Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
• Perform other duties as assigned.
