The remote High School CRE Medical Terminology Teacher is a state-certified teacher and/or alternatively certified CRE/CTE Teacher responsible for delivering specific course content in an on-line environment. This role involves providing instruction, support, and guidance, managing the learning process, and focusing on students' individual needs. Teachers monitor student progress through K12's learning management system and work actively with students and parents to advance each student's learning and to develop and monitor a plan for post-secondary success via online tools like Career Builder and Career Cruising. Passionate Educators are sought for the Stride K12 partner school, Texas Virtual Academy of Hallsville (TVAH), which aims to provide an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience through school and community/family partnerships, a rigorous curriculum, and a data-driven, student-centered instructional model. Student success is measured by assessment data, parent and student satisfaction, and institutional growth. This is a full-time REMOTE position requiring the ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, and maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.
