About The Position

Support Commercial Lending Group by working with originators and underwriters to support the team in screening, underwriting and monitoring loans. Performs basic credit analysis – may include analyzing operating statements, recommending risk ratings Analyzes Commercial Lending, Commercial Real Estate Loans, or other real estate related collateral types Analyzes financial data and collateral metrics to determine customers' ability to perform Makes process improvement and action recommendations backed by research, data, and key metrics Supports administrative aspects of the originations process including document collection, organization, tracking of due diligence requirements, and communication directly with counterparties Collaborate with internal departments (legal, commercial banking, valuation, processing, operations, portfolio management)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate, or related field
• 1-2 years experience in monitoring or underwriting and/or structuring commercial real estate lending transactions
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and an analytical mindset
• Dedicated work ethic and self-starter
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

• Experience/Knowledge of structured finance, ABS, ABL, syndications, or securitization structures is a plus
