About The Position

Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Crater/Shipper to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The Crater/Shipper is responsible for assisting with building shipping crates and loading trucks.

Requirements

• Carpentry/woodworking skills are necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Standing, bending, lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs., periodically during an 8 to 12 hr. work shift.
• Dexterity required includes the ability to safely work with power and hand tools.
• Normal hazards associated with working in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Build wooden crates.
• Prepare crates for shipment of parts and/orâ equipment.
• Assist in the loading of shipments.
• Cleaning and organizing ofâ the shipping area.
