About The Position

We're looking for a Crane Operator to join our yard at our Erie, PA location. What you’re responsible for: You will safely operating a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility You will be lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely place them in designated areas or processing equipment You will be loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security You will be collaborating and communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel You will be conducting pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenance You may be asked to operator the following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, Loader

Requirements

  • Crane Operator certification and/or experience is required
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
  • Attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling
  • Familiarity with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples
