The Crane Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of crane operations across one or multiple job sites. This role focuses on operational efficiency, personnel management, equipment scheduling, and ensuring that crane activities align with project timelines and safety standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred, or relevant field experience.
  • 10+ years construction supervisory experience required.
  • OSHA Training
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in crane operations, logistics, or construction management.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and crane safety standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiar with CAD/3D Lift programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage crane crews, including operators, riggers, and maintenance personnel.
  • Schedule crane usage and coordinate equipment logistics across job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
  • Monitor crane performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to align crane operations with construction schedules.
  • Track operational metrics and report on productivity and safety performance.
  • Assist in budgeting and procurement of crane-related equipment.
  • Assist with Lift Planning needs for project sites.
  • Related duties as assigned.
