About The Position

The CQC Reviewer's position duties include, but are not limited to gathering, tracking and analyzing quality assurance data and auditing expense vouchers to include providing advice and guidance to investigators on vouchering. The CQC Reviewer will also provide daily support and backing to the Compliance & Quality Control Manager and Program Managers when requesting assistance.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current adjudicated SSBI for Secret level security clearance.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and some knowledge of the background investigation process; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High reasoning skills, including the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, written, or schedule form.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to present information in an effective manner to management and general business correspondence.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and case management software.
  • Requires intermittent standing, writing/typing, walking, sitting, and driving throughout the workday, and may include for multiple hours.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial audit of vouchers in IRMA and identify any high-cost items for further review.
  • Provide support and guidance to field investigators on vouchering process.
  • Review/analyze data to identify integrity, cost, trending, and anomaly issues/concerns and present findings via Excel.
  • Print and prepare QA letters for outgoing mail.
  • Process incoming QA letters via mail to include logging feedback in IRMA and filing per customer guidelines.
  • Conduct Source post interview callouts via telephone for quality assurance.
  • Support preparation and data gathering for Investigator Review Board (IRB) activities.
  • Provide daily support and assistance to INSG management and Contract Investigators regarding cost and compliance issues.
  • Assist with data ingestion and extraction from case management and other investigative support systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
