About The Position

We're looking for a CPQ Technical Lead - United States This role is Hybrid, Dublin, CA Office The IT Product Owner – Quote to Contract owns the end-to-end business processes and systems supporting Opportunity, Quoting, Pricing, Product Configuration, Contracting, Amendments, and downstream Billing & Revenue impacts. This role is critical to enabling scalable growth, deal velocity, pricing governance, and revenue accuracy. The Product Owner serves as the single point of accountability between business and technology, partnering deeply with Sales Ops, Revenue, Finance, Legal, Product & Pricing, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and CLM tools, coupled with strong business process expertise across the full Lead-to-Contract lifecycle in a SaaS, PE-backed environment. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Product Management / Business Analysis/ Enterprise Applications
  • Extensive hands-on experience with: Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud) Salesforce CPQ CLM tools (DocuSign CLM, Ironclad, Conga, Icertis, or similar)
  • Proven experience owning Lead-to-Quote-to-Contract processes in SaaS
  • Experience working in Private Equity–backed or highly metrics-driven environments
  • Deep understanding of: SaaS subscription and usage-based models Pricing, discounting, and approvals Contract lifecycle management Amendments, renewals, co-terming Billing and revenue impacts
  • Strong ability to bridge business process and system design
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong documentation and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments
  • Comfortable operating with executive visibility and accountability
  • Agile / Scrum experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in $500M–$2B SaaS companies
  • Exposure to revenue recognition concepts (ASC 606)
  • Experience with integrations (MuleSoft, Workato)
  • Salesforce CPQ or Product Owner certifications
  • Experience supporting global sales organizations

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership & Joint Roadmap Ownership
  • Build strong, trusted partnerships with: Sales Operations & RevOps Revenue Accounting & Finance Deal Desk & Legal Service Operations Product & Pricing teams
  • Develop and manage a joint QTC roadmap with: Shared accountability Clear prioritization Measurable business outcomes (speed, accuracy, automation, controls)
  • Operate with a PE mindset, balance speed, control, and ROI.
  • End-to-End Business Process Ownership
  • Own and optimize Lead-to-Quote-to-Contract processes including: Lead and opportunity lifecycle Product catalog & pricing strategy Configuration & bundling Discounting & approvals Contract lifecycle management (CLM) Amendments, renewals, co-terming Downstream billing and revenue implications
  • Drive simplification, standardization, and automation across workflows.
  • Requirements, Use Cases & Business Sign-Off
  • Partner with Operations teams to: Define end-to-end business requirements Document detailed, unambiguous use cases Identify edge cases, dependencies, and control points
  • Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead formal reviews and obtain business sign-off before development begins.
  • Technology Delivery & Single Point of Contact
  • Act as the single point of contact for build, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Represent business intent throughout design, build, and deployment.
  • Partner with architects to ensure: Scalable Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and CLM solutions Performance, security, and compliance standards
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and PE governance expectations.
  • Testing, Certification & Quality Ownership
  • Certify releases and formally sign off that delivery meets business requirements.
  • Ensure: Test cases fully trace back to documented requirements All critical scenarios are validated Defects are prioritized and resolved
  • Own end-to-end testing strategy including: Functional testing Integration testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • SOPs, Documentation & Enablement
  • Partner with Operations and Enablement teams to: Deliver training to end users Support change management and adoption
  • Ensure consistent execution across Sales and Operations teams
  • Create and maintain: SOPs Process flows Functional documentation
  • Post-Deployment & Production Readiness
  • Perform smoke testing following releases or data migrations.
  • Validate system stability and business continuity.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders on: Release outcomes Risks and mitigations Next steps and optimization opportunities
  • Ensure smooth handoff to production support.
