About The Position

Hiram Davis Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Chief People Officer that will provide comprehensive human resource development and management leadership to the facility. This position serves on the Executive Leadership Team and will provide critical HR perspective and guidance on business issues. The selected candidate is required to work on site at the facility.

Requirements

Demonstrated hands on experience of critical Human Resources functions to include recruitment & selection, employee relations/EEOC, HR compliance, classification & compensation management, benefit program administration as well as federal and state employment laws
Demonstrated management and supervision experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience building trusted, collaborative relationships with senior leaders, clinicians, operations, finance and external stakeholders
Demonstrated experience resolving sensitive or complex employee relations, workforce and organizational issues requiring discretion, diplomacy and sound judgement
Demonstrated experience leading HR initiatives that require coordination across multiple departments
Ability to interpret HR data and implement data driven solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with HRIS systems as well as Microsoft office suite

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in public health or related field
PHR/SPHR certification
Demonstrated experience working in a healthcare environment
Prior Human Resources experience working for the Commonwealth of Virginia
