Key Responsibilities: Responsible for leading a team in support of the OneStream Platform and other future system enhancements. Responsible for overseeing administrative support and maintenance of OneStream and market place solutions. Supports the month end, quarterly and year-end financial and managerial reporting processes by managing the user community effectively and efficiently throughout the closing cycle. Hands on technical enhancements to member formulas, business rules and any other areas needing a code skillset like VB.NET or SQL-PL/SQL. Supports the monthly, quarterly forecasting and annual budget process by managing the user community effectively and efficiently throughout each cycle. Responsible for trouble-shooting during the financial closing process as well as understanding and maintaining application metadata and rules, cube views, dashboards, forms and user security on a day-to-day basis. Identifies and implements continual process improvement opportunities. Additionally, this position needs to be able to document the processes, train the user community and support internal and external audit requests as well as SOX compliance. Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring, and support of CPM Systems organization.

Requirements

  • Experience working within a finance organization using strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes (budgeting, consolidation, forecasting, reporting and financial statements)
  • Experience with structured project management and/or commercial software implementation processes.
  • Experience with implementing modules/solutions such as people planning, capex planning, tax provisioning, account reconciliations, task manager, driver based forecasting or budgeting, etc.
  • Knowledge of database systems and financial data flows.
  • Experience in building OneStream Data Connectors, Data Management Jobs/Business Rules, Dashboards, multi-directional drill through models, and configuration tools is desirable
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies
  • Ability to develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze data accuracy
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
  • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in CPM/EPM software implementation and Operational support
  • Strong VB.NET and or C# abilities and experience with SQL, Visual Basic, or other object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Data integration.
  • Ability to understand, analyze and articulate common business processes and decisions
  • Ability to operate in multi-disciplinary, matrix organization using structured project management
  • Strong proficiency in defining system strategies; developing system requirements; designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures; and implementing practical business solutions within predefined schedules
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff from any level of management
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures
  • 3+ years prior experience with any of the following products: • Hyperion Planning / Essbase • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) • OneStream XF • SAP BPC
  • Organized with strong reasoning skills
