The Courtesy Security Officer is responsible for performing security duties, including frequent rounds of the property, ensuring all doors are secured, and inspecting all areas of the Independent Living building. The role involves working directly with residents and their families to address concerns, following emergency procedures and safety guidelines, and maintaining the courtesy staff golf cart. The officer must be knowledgeable about all emergency procedures and proficient in Life Safety Code issues, while also being aware of residents' locations at all times.
