About The Position

MRC's PineCrest is Lufkin's premier continuing care retirement community. If you have a heart and passion for serving seniors, consider joining the PineCrest team! We are currently seeking a part time Courtesy Officer to work night shift (12am-8am). The Courtesy Officer serves as the first point of contact for guests, answers calls, patrols the building as well as the grounds, and assists with other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Friendly and courteous personality
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Serve as communication hub for visitors, residents and staff.
• Assist with clerical duties such as typing, copying and faxing.
• Utilize a POS system for front desk amenity payments.
• Generate work orders related to maintenance and IT request.
• Distribute mail to residents and staff mailboxes.
• Monitor pull-cord and pendant alert systems for possible resident assistance.
• May respond to emergency calls.
