About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Justice Services Director, the Court Services Clinical Lead serves as the primary point of contact and representative for Advantage Behavioral Health with the Clarke County Treatment Courts. This position provides leadership, clinical oversight, and coordination of the Clarke Court Services Treatment Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and compliant behavioral health and care coordination services. The Clinical Lead supports team operations, represents the agency in court-related collaborations, and provides direct clinical services to clients as needed.

Requirements

Licensure or associate licensure in the state of Georgia as an LAPC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or Psychologist with a minimum of two years of experience working in outpatient services.
Associate Licensed applicants must be within 1 year of ability to sit for licensure exam.

Nice To Haves

Full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or psychologist with a minimum of 2 years working with Justice involved individuals and/or Justice related programs and with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day oversight of clinical operations of the Clarke Court Services Program.
Addresses issues related to access, triage, scheduling, referral, disciplinary actions, and/or staff coverage for case management and master’s level clinical staff.
Provides clinical consultation, assistance with problem solving, and aids with resource navigation.
Assists with clinical and administrative oversight of the clinical and care coordination staff on the team by completing monthly PDLs, and team meetings
Serves as the agency’s liaison to the treatment courts representing Advantage Behavioral Health in meetings, staffing sessions, and collaborative planning discussions.
Builds and maintains strong partnerships with Court Personnel, Justice partners and community providers
Assists Director in ensuring clinical services for the Court Services are adequate, appropriate, and accessible.
Stays knowledgeable about guidelines and requirements that regulate provision of services, including but not limited to: CCBHC requirements, DBHDD Utilization Guidelines, CARF, ASO, DBHDD contractual obligations, DATEP/HFR regulations, Court Standards and Contractual obligations, and Advantage policies and procedures, etc.
Collaborates with the Director and team members to address and problem-solve barriers to access and continuity of care.
Provides direct clinical services including individual, family, and group therapy, as well as diagnostic assessments
Provides Treatment Recommendations to Court Teams
In collaboration with the Director, provides administrative oversight of the clinical and care coordination staff.
Monitoring of clinical and care coordination referrals, planning lists, high risk, and caseloads to ensure adequate balance between access and caseloads.
Fosters ongoing collaboration and communication with internal treatment programs, ensuring timely, accurate exchange of client information, progress updates, and treatment outcomes.
Reports relevant treatment data, trends, and client status back to the court in a way that is legally compliant, confidential, and useful for judicial decision-making.
Ensures data sharing between Advantage staff and treatment courts/ Justice Partners is timely, accurate, and adherent to privacy and confidentiality laws, regulations, and policies.
In conjunction with Advantages Human Resources Department, interviews, hires, directs, trains, evaluates the performance of, and when necessary, disciplines and discharges employees.
Defines job expectations for each position/each employee and communicates those expectations clearly.
Meets regularly with direct reports and documents meetings on Professional Development logs in Paycom
Evaluates staff at least annually using PMF process.
Follows Advantages policies and procedures regarding disciplinary actions.
Identifies training needs and coordinates training/education for subordinate staff.
Manages timekeeping and payroll bi-weekly for assigned staff.
Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with courts, and referral sources and partners within and outside the agency.
Attends agency and external meetings, court sessions, and trainings, as assigned.
