A Court Liaison who excels in this role: Responsible for oversight of court related procedures for patients requiring involuntary treatment of mental health issues and substance abuse. Individual is responsible for appearing at probable cause hearings to provide clinical information on behalf of the hospital. Responsible for fostering a relationship between the court system, county, physicians, and hospital. Individual is responsible for ensuring that all court documentation is accurate and meets all court provided deadlines.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have previous in patient healthcare experience required.
  • A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles required.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
  • May be required to work flexible hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work or counseling preferred, not required.
