Drive a company vehicle, to deliver or pick up client samples and packages within a specified area. Directly reports to Client Service Supervisor, Client Ambassador or Director of Operations. JOB FUNCTIONS Operate on a routed schedule for pick up and/or delivery of materials within established timeframes Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with company regulations Use of automatic routing or location software, such as a GPS, provided by the company. Ensure that compliance to ISO 17025 standards is maintained Miscellaneous duties as assigned WORK SCHEDULE: Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 6:30 a.m. with end times varying between 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., depending on the assigned route. Occasionally, coverage for other routes may be required, starting as early as 4:00 a.m. The primary schedule is Tuesday-Saturday for approximately 18+ hours per week.
