What are we looking for? The courier is responsible for picking up and delivering samples to and from our laboratory to and from our client sites. Shift/Schedule: 6 and 3 schedule, 6 days on call and 3 days off Salary & Benefits Information The base wage for this position is $14/hr. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. What you’ll do:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC card
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Previous courier experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Safely transporting petroleum samples and paperwork within specific timeframes.
  • Obtaining recipient signatures and keeping detailed logs.
  • Performing routine checks on oil, tires, and fuel, and keeping the vehicle clean.
  • Acting as a professional representative, answering inquiries, and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Organizing cargo, loading/unloading, and planning efficient routes to avoid delays.
  • Adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures, especially when handling confidential or hazardous materials.
