About The Position

We are looking for a friendly and customer-service-oriented Courier with a clean driving record to enhance our team. In this role, you will: Coordinate timely and efficient transportation of medical specimens and supplies. Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees. Maintain cleanliness and perform maintenance on company vehicles and transport devices. Ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Document operations and complete necessary reports. Assist with training and communication among couriers and relevant departments. Please click here: https://youtu.be/iMaXUt6s9rg General Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs. Occasional lifting of 30-60 lbs. Ability to enter and exit assigned vehicle. Able to sit in vehicle/drive for up to 4 hours nonstop. Ability to load & unload assigned vehicle, with frequent bending involved. Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed. Regularly handle potentially infectious samples. Ability to drive assigned vehicle in all types of conditions, including built-up areas, freeway, and rural traffic, hours of darkness, and inclement weather. May be exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens. Occasional-to-regular kneeling, bending, stooping and twisting to perform vehicle inspections and minor operator maintenance, including changing tires. OHSA Category: This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Navigation, punctuality, and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to drive in inclement weather

  • Strong preference for candidates with previous driving/courier experience
  • Strong preference for candidates with a consistent employment history and minimal career gaps
