About The Position
Laboratory Courier We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Courier to join our laboratory team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and secure transportation of laboratory samples, documents, and supplies. Key Responsibilities: - This route would be approximately 4 hours each day (5am-9am), possibility for more if performance is above average. - Collect and deliver laboratory specimens and related materials to the laboratory once a day. - Ensure all items are handled with care, following proper safety and handling protocols. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including documentation and tracking. - Adhere to all safety, health, and confidentiality regulations during transportation. - Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and external contacts to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues. - Inspect transportation vehicles regularly to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning. Skills and Qualifications: - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Proven experience in courier, delivery, or transportation roles preferred. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to handle sensitive and potentially hazardous materials responsibly. - Strong communication skills and professional demeanor. - Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
