About The Position

Advocate Health is seeking a Part-time Courier for ACL Laboratories - WI Logistics. This role involves transporting and delivering all assigned items, including medical specimens and supplies, ensuring their integrity and confidentiality. The courier will be responsible for the proper handling, storage, and transport of sensitive and hazardous materials, adhering to schedules, routes, and safety protocols. The position also requires maintaining vehicle cleanliness and scheduled maintenance, effective communication with clients, staff, and dispatch, and prompt response to urgent delivery requests and phone calls. The courier will document deliveries, support workflow improvements, handle physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs, and use freight equipment as needed, and collect payments or signatures when necessary. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid state driver’s license.
Strong communication skills.
Customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient related information.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
