COUNTY DETECTIVE
About The Position
The County Detective position aids local Police departments in investigating crimes, providing expertise, and ensuring consistent processes across all municipalities. As a County Detective, you'll have the opportunity to: Provide technical assistance and guidance to local law enforcement in solving crimes. Interview witnesses, victims, and suspects while reviewing evidence to gather vital information. Testify in court as required. Prepare detailed reports on all activities and collaborate with various agencies. Represent the District Attorney's Office at law enforcement meetings. Utilize various technologies like computers, 2-way radios, cell phones, and more.
Requirements
- Pennsylvania Act 120 Municipal Certification preferred
- At least 5 years of prior experience as a police officer, with at least 2 of those years in Pennsylvania
