About The Position

Rulemapping Group, headquartered in Berlin, stands for innovation at the intersection of law and technology. Our mission is to simplify, accelerate, and make complex bureaucratic processes transparent and understandable for everyone. With our unique Rulemapping methodology and Rule AI, we develop solutions that relieve companies of bureaucratic burden, improve access to justice for individuals, and enable a new way of thinking about public administration. Supported by the Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation (SPRIND), we are shaping the standard for the digitalization and automation of rule-based decision-making processes. You will be responsible for driving commercial expansion in the US across both the public and private sectors. In this role, you own market entry, build a strong sales pipeline, and acquire lighthouse and reference customers in our EU reference market. You will work closely with Delivery and Product teams as well as our Germany-based Global Hub. Together with you, we want to further advance this vision and revolutionize the world of rules and laws.

Requirements

  • Several years of senior-level experience in B2B SaaS Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Key Account Management, ideally with responsibility for launching new markets or developing new market segments.
  • Proven experience in building markets (“first-in-market”) or new business areas, including exploratory market development and subsequent scaling.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, cloud technologies, and digital transformation processes.
  • Language skills: English C2, German specifically and other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • You lead and own the market entry and go-to-market strategy for the US in close alignment with the Germany-based Global Hub.
  • You drive Business Development and Enterprise Sales across the public and/or private sector (B2B/B2G), identify new business opportunities, and develop tailored solutions for different industries.
  • You manage the full enterprise sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through solution design, negotiation, and closing.
  • You identify, acquire, and grow lighthouse and reference customers, particularly in regulated industries (e.g., banking, insurance, healthcare, energy).
  • You recruit, onboard, and manage partners (resellers, system integrators, consultancies), initially as a complement to direct sales and, over time, within a hybrid go-to-market model.
