About The Position

This position requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance A Counterintelligence Targeting Referent gathers, analyzes, and disseminates intelligence to detect and counter potential threats to national security. They collaborate with intelligence agencies and law enforcement to investigate espionage, sabotage, and other activities that jeopardize the country's interests. Through research, analysis, and coordination with foreign partners, they identify patterns, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats, providing actionable intelligence and recommendations to protect against hostile intelligence activities and maintain national security.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • A minimum of eight (8) years’ of related experience, preferably with the Client
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study; Master’s degree is preferred
  • Analyze foreign adversaries' intelligence capabilities, cyber threats, and HUMINT operations through utilization of the latest targeting tools.
  • Knowledge of Insider Threat programs.
  • Strong briefing, writing, and teamwork skills with minimal supervision.
  • Regional and/or functional expertise in a specific geographic area.
  • Effective communication with customer managers at all levels.
  • Expertise with targeting tools and current targeting trends and practices.
  • Experience in Intelligence Operations / Targeting / Support to Field Operations
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure and experience with counterintelligence, paramilitary and liaison operations, and developing targeting programs preferred.
  • Foreign field experience from at least one overseas tour or extensive overseas TDY experience
  • Master’s degree is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity, technical expertise, and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of current targeting tools, systems and practices.
  • Develop and refine a CI targeting program with limited guidance and direction.
  • Utilize previous experience and understanding of commercial systems to ensure SOPs and processes are current.
  • Preferred candidates possess curiosity, investigative skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, delivering effective solutions.
  • Utilize technically-advanced knowledge and expertise in operations, targeting and intelligence priorities to offer strategic guidance, educate employees and inform decisions.
  • Assist program management across various customer activities, including both traditional operations and specialized initiatives.
  • Resolve intricate operational challenges by utilizing innovative technical targeting tools and capabilities, leveraging the resources of the Intelligence Community to meet operational requirements.
  • Conduct unbiased evaluations of ongoing and potential operations, serving as a crucial liaison between field personnel and the Intelligence Community.
  • Conduct comprehensive all-source intelligence research, risk analysis, and report writing; develop operational concepts; engage stakeholders; and prepare and present reports to management at all levels.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
