About The Position

Counterintelligence Officer The Opportunity: As a Counterintelligence ( CI ) Officer, you will c ond uct defensive CI activities in support of an intelligence agency to include c ond ucting daily research to gather, assimilate, evaluate, and interpret information concerning intelligence, terror ism, and espionage threats against agency personnel, programs, technology, and information systems or facilities and the national system for GEOINT. You will provide daily CI analyses for distribution to selected parties within the agency, the DoD, and the Intelligence Community and publish intelligence with recommendations for mitigation and countermeasures, as appropriate. You will detect and assess anomalous activities for links to possible foreign intelligence collection within the agency with recommended countermeasures. You’ll apply knowledge and understanding of most of the applicable analytical tools such as Multimedia Message Manager ( M3 ) , Palantir, Tripwire Analytic Capability ( TAC ) , ArcSight, RSA Security Analytics, Consular Consolidated Database ( CCD ) , or Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment ( TIDE ) to c ond uct CI analysis of anomalous activities. You will also use your expertise to liaison with other agencies, share current trends or issues, prepare briefs as requested, c ond uct travel briefings, prepare Intelligence Information Reports, provide advice to CI Risk Assessments, and produce other products as needed. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with counterintelligence ( CI )
  • Experience in foundational defensive CI, including c ond ucting investigations, inquiries, collections, operations, analysis, briefings, debriefings, training, and awareness
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis, Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
  • Master's degree in National Intelligence Studies, Law Enforcement, History, Analysis, Research, Journalism, Political Science, Library Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field a plus
