This position is for an individual that possesses and can demonstrate their extensive knowledge, training, and experience within CI and investigative fields, with preference of having in-depth experience in both. The selectee should possess in-depth CI experience, preferably in an operational environment that involved the full range of detection and mitigation strategies as it pertained to Foreign Intelligence Entities and Insider Threats (InT). The selectee should also possess considerable hands-on experience in independently conducting the full range of CI and InT inquiries and investigations from start to finish. The selectee will serve as an investigator for Raytheon (RAY) CI&I team based in McKinney, TX reporting directly to the RAY Western Region CI&I Lead. Selectee will operate independently with little management oversight to provide expert-level CI&I and execute the following, but not limited to, duties.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Ecperience working with NISPOM.
  • Experience conducting investigations

Nice To Haves

  • B.A./B.S. in fields such as Criminal Justice, International Security, National Security, Cybersecurity, or other related fields, and minimum 5 years’ experience in CI, Investigations, LE, Internal Affairs Investigations or Auditing, and/or Intelligence Analysis; or Advanced Post Graduate Degree in one of above-mentioned fields, plus 3 years related work experience; or Possess extensive CI and/or investigative experience. Extensive experience in both areas desirable.
  • Possess high levels of integrity and moral character.

  • Familiarity with criminal and employment law, evidence collection and retention, interviewing and interrogation, and report writing.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication (oral and written) skills.

  • Certification by a federal credentialing CI or investigative agency.
  • Prior LE Experience.
  • Broad experience in physical, international, industrial, supply chain, and cyber security.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analysis, investigative report writing, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with investigations involving CI, SCI, SAP, and/or ITAR/EAR violations.
  • Hands-on experience conducting NISPOM administrative inquiries.
  • Familiarity with DoDM5205.07 Vol 1 thru 4, DoD5200.01 Vol 1 thru 3, and incident reporting process IAW DoD 5200.01 Vol 3.
  • Experience developing Threat Assessments and Risk Mitigation Strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Independently plan and conduct a wide range of investigations capable of withstanding judicial and admin scrutiny into noncompliance with regulatory requirements, Company policies and laws violations.
  • Conduct CI and InT investigations to thwart probability of espionage, sabotage, and loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of RAY intellectual property, and Customers’ classified information.
  • Conduct InT deep-dive analysis, assist Legal investigations, Independently coordinate CI projects and activities.
  • Independently conduct employee interviews and forensic audits of employee assets to determine adherence to the company’s policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
  • Independently conduct liaison meetings with USG agencies as deemed necessary in the fulfillment of investigative duties.
  • Investigate possible intelligence gathering activities as reported including (1) efforts by any individual to obtain unauthorized access to classified information or to compromise a cleared employee, (2) all contacts by cleared employees with known or suspected intelligence officers of another country, or (3) any contact which suggests an employee may be the target of an attempted exploitation by criminal or terrorist organizations or FIE.
  • Investigate reported suspicious in person, social media, email, phone, and/or text contacts targeting employees.
