Counter Server / Front of House

Join our fun team! Our restaurant is looking for a counter server for a part-time position at our Redmond location! The restaurant is located at 16595 Redmond Way, suite 100, Redmond, WA 98052. At Due’ Cucina Italiana we love food that is real, fresh and authentic. We serve homemade pasta bowls and other dishes inspired by the best of the Italian tradition. All of our dishes are cooked fresh from scratch every day, including our pasta that is extruded in the pasta lab right inside our restaurant. Learn more about our story at www.duecucina.com. Learn and master the art of making fresh pasta. Familiarize yourself with our menu and guide customers through their Due' experience. Communicate effectively with delivery drivers (UberEats, DoorDash, etc) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintain accurate menu inventory across all delivery platforms. Ensure compliance with Covid-19 precautionary measures in the dining area. Collaborate with BOH team members or managers to address customer concerns or dissatisfaction with any dish. Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas and the pasta lab, especially after pasta preparation is completed. Greet every customer warmly to ensure they feel welcome. Other duties as necessary or assigned. Experience: Previous customer service experience in restaurants is highly appreciated, but if you don't have it, no problem! We will train you :)
Requirements
- People person who enjoy spending time with customers to educate them on our food
- High-energy, proactive individual who thrive a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work (and have fun) in a diverse team
- Attention to detail
- Passionate about food
- Minimum 21 years old (alcohol service required)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work under stress
- Possesses or willing to obtain a current Food Handler Card and Alcohol Server Permit
Nice To Haves
- Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus (although not required)
