JOB SUMMARY: Greets customers in person or via telephone and identifies sales/rental opportunities. Provides working knowledge of oilfield products while answering customer questions. Creates sales/rental orders based on customer requirements and drives fulfillment actions. Creates picking and packing lists as required, fulfills outbound orders, packages, prepares and stages shipment for delivery. Receives shipments from vendors while verifying stocking materials as appropriate. Performs pick up and return of rental equipment. Documents and communicates needed repairs to customers with the assistance of Shop Mechanics. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Verifies and documents condition of equipment and accuracy of rental contracts. Mains clean, organized work area. Works in a safe manner and ensures PPE/safety policies are followed by customers/other employees. Greets all customers in person or via telephone in a timely, professional manner. Communicates arrival and availability of inventory with appropriate Account Rep. Identifies customer needs and fulfills sales/rental/service orders and collects payment as required. Pulls rental equipment and prepares merchandise from inventory for customer pickup/delivery. Prepares outbound shipment documents – picklist, packing list or BOL. Inspects and documents condition of outbound/inbound rental equipment with customer. Coordinates communication with customer of related needs – inventory arrivals, repairs required. Performs physical inventory as needed. Coordinates transfer of material between branch locations. Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls. Prepares and confirms purchase orders for Account Reps. Ability to handle payment transactions. Other related duties as assigned.
