About The Position

COUNTER SALES / WILL CALL ASSOCIATE Do you enjoy building a rapport with customers and better understanding their needs? Are you sales oriented? We are currently in search of a career orientated person to join our Customer Service team on both the plumbing and electrical side. The position operates in a fast paced, dynamic, rewarding environment and will assume responsibility for all counter sales and product returns while providing expertise as a member of the customer service team. Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to develop long-term relationships and generate referrals from your customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Impeccable organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Time management & multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same time
• Strong networking skills, outgoing personality
• Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
• Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
• Final candidates will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing is a plus
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are considered an asset
• Knowledge of the Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an asset
• Preferred sales experience industry

Responsibilities

• Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone
• Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
• Processing orders in the system
• Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
• Consistent training and understanding of current products
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Handling returns as required
• Keeping counter and sales area clean
• Merchandising and showcasing product
• Picking and packing orders
• Knowledge of a RF gun
• Order entry
• Knowledge of the Eclipse system
