Requirements

  • A High School diploma or equivalent education with two (2) years of related inside sales or warehouse experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Highly skilled in oral and written communications; listens and acquires clarification, and responds well to questions.
  • Self-motivated with ability to successfully work in an unsupervised environment.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • English language fluency, verbal and written.
  • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s degree or certification in business-related field.
  • Working knowledge of all types of oilfield equipment.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas exploration, completion and production processes.
  • Customer service training and/or experience.
  • Bilingual preferred (specific language depending on store location).
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using or ability to become proficient in the company’s TGI E21 Enterprise system.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to acquire other Safety Certifications as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Take customer orders on phone or from walk-in customers.
  • Follow company processes and policies.
  • Accurately process customer orders in E21 Software System in real time.
  • Document customer information in the Customer Relationship Maintenance (CRM) system.
  • Assist with loading customer orders in customer vehicles.
  • Develop professional working relationships with suppliers and other business partners.
  • Complete inventory cycle counts in warehouse as needed.
  • Drive to local suppliers to pick up items for customer orders.
  • Maintain and enforce quality standards.
  • Safety-minded and proactive in safe operating practices.
  • Assist with general housekeeping and safety of the store and warehouse areas.
