About The Position

The Counter Sales Associate interfaces with customers daily, relays accurate information on products, pricing and stock availability and acts as a liaison and customer advocate. In this role, you will: Greet customers within 30 seconds of entry Openly and effectively communicate to our external customers as well internal employees Form long lasting relationships with both external customers and internal employees Answer customer phone calls for sales and general inquiries Maintain and grow with product and industry knowledge. Provide customer solutions and troubleshooting by assessing and diagnosing customer needs Achieve personal development tasks as well as sales goals Accurately pull, check, and stage parts/products. Identify inventory errors and discrepancies and bring management to their attention as well as assisting to correct and prevent them. Assure transactional accuracy at point of sale General upkeep, COVID-19 protocols, and cleaning General warehouse duties including but not limited to stock put-away, organization Process customer returns and perform product cycle counts Partake in receiving and posting of inventory, including hilo usage and data entry Act as back-up delivery driver

Requirements

  • Friendly and responsive; enthusiastic demeanor and optimistic attitude
  • Time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Exceptional listening skills and the ability to correctly interpret customer needs and objectives
  • Customer focused, with a continuous commitment to customer service
  • Customer service experience
  • High School Diploma, GED or military equivalent
  • Physical activity including but not limited to being on feet for 6-8 hours per shift, standing, walking, typing/computer usage, ladder usage, bending, kneeling and lifting 50+ pounds intermittently
  • Availability from 6am - 7pm; occasional Saturday. Typical schedule from 7-5 Monday through Friday.
  • Reliable transportation

  • Previous industry experience and/or sales experience is a plus
