Requirements

Computer literacy. Ability to use Microsoft Office, as well as proficiency in order entry processes using our Epicor Solar Eclipse system, VAMAC's intranet, or other systems as applicable
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms (i.e. in-person, phone, email, etc.)
Ability to work independently as well as within a team; ability to multitask
Ability to stand and walk for long duration, as well as lift up to 100 pounds
1+ years experience within the industry is preferred (sales, plumbing, order entry)

Nice To Haves

Industry related experience
Previous experience using an RF Gun
Current forklift certification, where required

Responsibilities

Providing exceptional service to customers at the counter and over the phone through accurate order entry
Increasing sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional as well as new products
Working cooperatively with other team members, such as coordinating deliveries with drivers, pulling customer orders, helping replenish inventory and pulling transfers in the warehouse, and other branch operations as needed
Following ethical standards and complying with company policies that ensure as safe, friendly, and team-oriented family culture
