Seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual for a Counter Sales Associate. This full-time position will focus on order entry at the sales counter with other related warehouse duties such as stocking shelves, shipping products, loading trucks, and some driving as well. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Entering orders at the point of sale using the company computer system Interacting with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person Greet customer with friendly attitude Communicate to customers the correct product for their application Communicate to customers how material is priced and sold Create Sales Orders and Quotes to estimate cost of projects, quantities of material needed from customer measurements Ensure smooth deliveries by scheduling effectively and maintaining open communication with team members and clients Order picking/staging/Replenishment Shipping/receiving Loading/unloading delivery vehicles Delivering products to customers and branch locations An eye for safety including pre-trip inspections, securing loads, and strict adherence to DOT/CDL regulations. Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA.
