About The Position

This Count Room Clerk is responsible for the drop and count processes for Gaming Machines, Table Games, and Poker Room drop, and TRU/ ATM and all other self service kiosks . Essential Duties/Core Competencies Opens, removes and secures currency from the slot machines, and table games, and TRU/ATM and all other self service kiosks . Adheres to all Drop/Count policies and procedures. Accurately counts slot machine currency drop and tickets. Operates electronic currency counter/sorter and ICB-ASAP equipmentNew Wave ticket counter equipment. Records currency from each bill acceptor and table game box on the electronic currency counter. Prepares and bundles the currency drop for verification. Separates slot ticket and currency from gaming machines. Performs chip count for Poker Room Prepares and creates various reports on the count and enters the information in the computerized online accounting system. Informs Floor Managerssupervisors of any discrepancies or variances. Ensures area is maintained and clean. Complete Drop/count during regular shift. Maintains confidentially of all information. Perform other tasks as assigned. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Previous drop and count experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to operate currency/voucher counting equipment
  • Ability to use computer equipment
  • Ability to count large quantities of cash and prepare proper documentation thereof
  • Ability to carry/push heavy workloads
  • Ability to carry minimum of eight cash boxes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment/ maintain a consistent work pace
  • Ability to maintain focus/ attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment/position
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Fluency in English required, second language a plus.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and inference.
  • Ability to create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
  • Ability to carry minimum of eight cash boxes
  • Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fiftytwenty-five (5025) pounds, and varied instances of standing/walking.
