About The Position

As the Count Room Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, counting, and recording gaming revenue, as well as the overall operation and maintenance of the count room.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • Two years of experience supervising a money room or count room
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be proficient in using a 10-key calculator and other office equipment
  • Must have above-average math skills to count money accurately and quickly
  • Must have strong decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and vision of formal count policies and procedures
  • Assist with training, selecting, and developing team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action
  • Direct the collection, sorting, counting, and recording of gaming revenue; the transfer of funds to the vault; the maintenance of the currency counting equipment; and the overall operations of the count room
  • Verify count calculations and reconcile summary reports
  • Ensure all count totals and transactions are timely and accurately recorded
  • Reconcile discrepancies related to monetary assets
  • Perform duties of Count Room and Lead Count Room Representatives as needed
  • Ensure the count room is kept clean, safe, and free of hazards
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management of any observation of illegal acts and or internal ethics
  • Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned
