The High School Counselor is a certified position providing comprehensive counseling services in grades 9-12, based on Academy assignment or by team/grade level as assigned by the principal. This role requires managing, analyzing, and utilizing data from Infinite Campus, Data Warehouse, SMS, and other district SIS databases to meet school improvement goals and address students' academic, career, and social-emotional needs. The job requires a person who is responsible, reliable, and dependable, and who understands the imperative to ensure that students' transcripts, schedules, academic, college, and career plans are accurate and lead to successful graduation and transition to post-secondary institutions. Additionally, the HS counselor must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
