Summary: Located in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Pyramid Healthcare’s Hillside treatment center provides specialized detox and residential treatment specifically for men, addressing the unique challenges they face in recovery. Our detox program offers a medically-supervised environment where men can safely withdraw from substances while receiving 24/7 support from experienced professionals.

Requirements

Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling, or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC).
Bachelors Level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Facilitates group therapy, including preparation of materials, through research and construction of curriculum as needed.
Carrying a limited caseload as deemed necessary.
Communicating with referral sources and company representatives regularly to strengthen relationships and address concerns/problems.
Work closely to coordinate care with internal treatment providers regarding evaluation of client needs and/or medication management as appropriate.
Manages client files by conducting scheduled audits to ensure proper documentation is present and all licensing regulations are met.
Facilitates and attends weekly treatment team meetings.
Assists staff and program scheduling as needed.
As needed, conducts insurance reviews and assessments.
Supports with intake process with new clients into program as applicable.
Participates in on-call duties for the facility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotional needs as applicable.
Oversees Family Programming including but not limited to the facilitation of psycho-educational programming as deemed appropriate.
Provide recommendations and assist in coordination of aftercare planning for clients.
Assist Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Director with clerical duties and any other duties as assigned.
Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information
Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
Other duties as assigned.
