As part of our team at Venango County Jail, you'll use your skills to support growth, stability, and healing for individuals who need it most. Whether your background is in counseling, social work, or psychiatric nursing, you'll be a key player in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

• Master's Level: Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field (LPC/LCSW preferred) + 2 years' experience
• Bachelor's Level: Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field + 4 years' experience
• RN: At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience
• Skilled in communication, empathy, and adaptability
• Passionate about helping justice-involved individuals move forward

Nice To Haves

• LPC/LCSW preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing mental health assessments
• Develop and guide individualized treatment plans
• Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions
• Collaborate with correctional, medical, and probation teams
• Coordinate community referrals for continuity of care
• Keep clear, accurate documentation and stay current on best practices
