The Role: Counselor (LCSW or LCPC) The Counselor provides assessment, diagnostic, individual, group, and family therapy services to patients treated on an outpatient basis. This position qualifies for monthly student loan reimbursements! MaineGeneral Health is currently seeking an exceptional Counselor to join our Pediatric Center team. Requirements

Active LCSW or LCPC required.
At least 2 years of Behavioral Health experience with children and families required.
Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) required.
Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.
Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

Formulates individual patient treatment plans and completes all required documentation.
Systematically and continually assesses the patient's mental status in collaboration with the patient/family/providers.
Provides outpatient individual, group, and family counseling.
Identifies and refers patients to appropriate community resources for follow-up care.
