The Penn State Abington Division of Student Affairs seeks a dynamic and engaging individual, who is committed to advancing student health and wellness initiatives, support and provide supervision to the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) unit . The CAPS Supervisor , w orking collaboratively with campus and community partners, is responsible for developing programs, initiatives, and resources that promote holistic student health and wellness. The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of mental health services for students. This role includes direct clinical care, supervision of CAPS clinical staff, operational management, and collaboration with campus stakeholders. CAPS is a unit within Student Affairs, committed to holistic development, equity, and belonging for all students. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication , and organizational skills. They will be flexible, creative, empathetic and demonstrate a desire to work in a student-facing, fast-paced environment, as part of a student-focused team that promotes and cultivates an environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive. The position requires working on some evening and weekend events .
