Job Description TRT Holdings (“TRT”), the privately owned parent company of Omni Hotels & Resorts seeks a driven, business-minded Counsel . In this role, you will support a wide range of transactional and operational legal matters across TRT’s hospitality and real estate portfolio, including corporate governance, hotel development, leasing, financing, and contract work. The ideal candidate brings strong transactional experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Vice President and Senior Counsel, this position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support the continued growth and success of TRT and its more than 50 luxury hotels across the U.S. This position is located in Dallas, TX at the Corporate Office and is fully in office.

Requirements

  • At least three to five years’ experience in transaction and business oriented practice
  • Law degree and current state license
  • Strong communication skills, sound business judgment, and willing to learn and get tasks done in a fast-moving environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of transactional legal work, including corporate, real estate, finance and hotel development
  • Assist with lease review and drafting
  • Assist with operational aspects of hotel and real estate ownership, including compliance with condo regimes, loan documents and REAs
  • Contract review
  • Due diligence for transactions, including title and survey
  • Form and dissolve entities, draft resolutions, maintain entity minute books, org chart and legal entity database
  • Oversee annual entity state filings to maintain entity state qualifications
  • Assist with trademark filings in coordination with outside counsel
