About The Position

CoreWeave is seeking a talented commercial counsel to join our team in New York to support Weights & Biases at a time of rapid growth and transformation. The successful candidate will partner closely with internal business teams on a broad variety of transactional and other business matters. You will report to Managing Counsel, Weights & Biases Commercial and work closely with colleagues across the US, EMEA and APAC.

Requirements

  • JD degree and a member of a U.S. state bar in good standing;
  • 3+ years of combined legal experience in-house and/or at a law firm, with primary focus on commercial and technology transactions;
  • Substantive knowledge of SaaS and software licensing agreements;
  • Working knowledge of GDPR and Privacy Laws;
  • A track record of closing complex commercial agreements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a VC-backed technology or high-growth technology company;
  • Ability to identify and address data protection issues in commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate SaaS and software licensing agreements with enterprise customers, working closely with Sales, Finance and Product to drive deals to closure;
  • Review and negotiate a wide range of other commercial agreements, including data processing, professional services and partnership agreements, working with stakeholders across the organization;
  • Implement and improve policies, templates and processes to manage legal and business risk on a global scale.
