Requirements

  • BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • RLM and/or PLM desirable

Responsibilities

  • Creation and maintenance of Standard Operation Procedures for all Costing activities as dictated by the Critical path
  • Development and maintenance of Cost Sheets and summary templates
  • Development of Management information reports through RLM/BW system
  • Constant procedural review to improve efficiency, expediency and training
  • Developing Excel applications for verification of yields, FOB confirmations, piece planning, pieces goods width conversions and more
  • Logistics and practicability of new procedures, reports and interaction with factories and support areas such as CAD, fabric and trim
  • Liaison to A/P on all Special Markets cost discrepancies
  • Maintain Costing Standard Operating Procedures throughout Kasper Special Markets divisions
  • Train new costing staff members as well as upgrading staff skills and knowledge
  • Follow up on costing status for Special Markets Divisions
  • Review and insure target completion dates
  • Work with each staff member reviewing cost sheets, summaries and work loads
  • Confirm factories FOB/DDP requests for all Special Markets Divisions
  • Maintain and enforce SOP for all activities throughout the costing critical path
  • Daily interaction with CAD, Fabric, Trim, Allocations, Production and Systems Departments
  • Daily interaction with factories to insure expediency of FOB/DDP requests and other issues in fabric quality, yields and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Follow up on daily and weekly reports
  • Work closely with Fabric, Trim, Design and CAD departments to analyze each style for the most acceptable solution.
