Takes ownership of cost control activities for medium to large EPC/Alliance projects. Provides detailed cost analysis and supports project managers in maintaining budgets and forecasts. Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of cost control experience.
  • Proficiency in cost management software (Prism, Oracle, Omega 365 or similar).
  • Requires understanding of EPC/Alliance contracts (lump sum, reimbursable, unit rate).
  • Ability to interpret project schedules and link schedule to cost forecasts.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and write in the English language.
  • Basic mathematical skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, related field or equivalent years of experience in Engineering or Construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project cost control structures (WBS, CBS).
  • Track budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis, cost trending, and forecast updates.
  • Prepare monthly project cost reports and present findings to project leadership.
  • Support risk analysis and change management processes.
  • Coordinate with scheduling, subcontracts, procurement, contracts, and finance teams to align cost reporting.
  • Mentor junior cost specialists and review their work.
