Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in cost accounting or related area.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley
  • Knowledge of financial systems and budget process
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes utilized in a high technology electronics design and manufacturing operation
  • Ability to organize and present financial data in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to effectively express self orally and in writing to prepare comprehensive analyses, recommendations and reports
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and outside professionals
  • BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related degree
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
  • Additionally, as a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants selected could be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Perform planning and budgeting support; prepare detailed work papers and documentation for reporting and budgeting.
  • Prepare annual rate package and cycle count/physical inventory exemption documentation.
  • Generate invoices in Government procurement systems and provide data for customer audits or inquiries.
  • Analyze month-end variances, WIP, shipments, and labor history trends; adjust proposals using learning curve factors and judgment.
  • Prepare justification and performance reviews for manufacturing overhead budgets; reconcile reports as needed.
  • Conduct operations audits and participate in month-end closing activities, including journal entries.
