Requirements
- Valid California Cosmetology or Barber License (or currently in school and close to completion)
- Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of retail math for managing product sales is beneficial. For you to attain Bonuses!
- Candidates should be enthusiastic about providing outstanding customer service while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Positive attitude and drive to succeed!
- A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying
- Amazing hair styling and finishing skills
- A desire to provide exceptional service
- Strong communication skills
- Drive and motivation, and
- Ability to work with and be a part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Supporting fellow stylists and front desk staff to maintain a smooth, positive work environment.
- Provide professional hair styling services, including washing, blowdrying and stylist to clients.
- Provide updos, braids, and extension services
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences every shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experiences.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through continuous education.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations
- Folding and restocking clean towels
- Taking out trash as needed
- Dusting surfaces and wiping down shelves, counters, and styling stations
- Cleaning and sanitizing brushes and combs
- Keeping the break room tidy and organized
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon policies.
- Refilling station drawers with tools and supplies
- Helping to restock back bar products and retail inventory
