Requirements

Proven experience with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
1-2 years of auditing experience preferred
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and root causes in loan file data
Strong understanding of mortgage loan documents, compliance regulations, and post-closing procedures

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs is a plus

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough post-closing reviews of mortgage loan files to ensure compliance with regulatory, investor, and company standards
Accurately identify, document, and categorize any discrepancies or defects found during the audit process
Adhere to established auditing guidelines, investor requirements, and internal policies
Consistently meet productivity and quality benchmarks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
