About The Position

Correspondence Clerk position Onsite-Baton, Rouge, LA (Part-Time) 25 hours a week, training 2-3 weeks. Hourly rate $15.00 Job description – The Correspondence Clerk will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and prepping documents for scanning, reviewing correspondence to determine appropriate action, making outbound phone calls, updating databases to track communication history and follow-up actions, and preparing documents for mailing.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to meet the requirements of a background check, and drug screening.
  • Ability to work in multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Good attendance/punctuality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • 1-2 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

  • receiving, sorting, and prepping documents for scanning
  • reviewing correspondence to determine appropriate action
  • making outbound phone calls
  • updating databases to track communication history and follow-up actions
  • preparing documents for mailing
  • Performs business support or technical work, using data.
  • Organizing and coordination skills.
  • Data Entry
  • Moderate outbound call center setting
  • Performs tasks based on established procedures.
