About The Position
Contractual obligations of our Corrections Program require that this position be filled by a Male candidate. Female candidates will not be considered. This position is responsible for: Monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring accountability, safety, security, and compliance to corrections facility rules.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year experience performing security work OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid state drivers license.
Responsibilities
- Monitors client behavior and serves as liaison between client and counselor.
- Administers drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Maintains accurate and complete logs for residents and the facility.
