This position is assigned to Greene Correctional Institution in Maury, NC. Employees in this class are assigned a caseload of inmates, which involves supportive counseling, conducting assessments, developing case plans, answering and following up on inmate questions and concerns, and making recommendations to the classification committee. Employees will also assist in major dynamic programs for the rehabilitation of inmates such as inmate work assignments, work release, education, recreation as well as transition planning and coordinating. Case Managers plan and coordinate inmate's transition (re-entry) prior to parole or release in the community. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits. Applicants must pass a background check to be eligible for this job.
