About The Position

The Akron, OH office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking a transactional associate attorney to join its Corporate Practice. The ideal candidate will have three (3) to seven (7) years of experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of corporate agreements, including asset and stock purchase agreements, disclosure schedules and other transaction ancillary agreements, operating and shareholders agreements, consulting agreements, service agreements, commercial contracts, financing agreements, and real estate agreements. Excellent analytical, communication and writing skills are required. Admission to the Ohio Bar is required. Lewis Brisbois’ Corporate Practice attorneys advise clients regarding: choice of business entity and entity formation, taxation, corporate governance, corporate finance, federal and state securities regulations, stock option and deferred compensation plans, commercial law and finance, secured transactions, commercial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions and other company reorganizations. We assist clients that range from start-up companies to middle-market and public companies. We also represent a large number of not-for-profit and tax-exempt organizations.
